This source has been bottled and any kind of bottled water for a fact must be FDA approved. Bottled alkaline water is said to have a variable component in balancing the acidity and alkalinity in the body thereby decreasing the chance of disease. Drinking water for a fact

Bottled alkaline water has a ph range of 8 or 9 at best. This low acidic water is commended by some health advocates. According to the International Bottled Water Association the classifications are spring water, Purified Water, Mineral Water, Sparkling Bottled Water, Artesian Water/Artesian Well Water, and Well Water.  Tap water is the popular choice for drinking. The ph balance of water is one component that has never happened to be given a thought until today. Our bodies have a component of 70% water while the blood comprises of 94%. Acidic factors like stress, a dormant lifestyle, are believed to contribute to the acidity in the body. This blood’s ph then circulates and let’s inhabit micro organisms in this environment.  Neutralizing the body’s ph is emphasized as one of the benefits in consuming bottled alkaline water.

This type of water is formed and produced through distillation, and ionization which helps achieve the alkalinity at best with electricity to neutralize the ph. The effect of drinking bottled alkaline water is that it increases ones thirst. It is recommended to drink 3 liters of alkaline water to achieve the optimum effects. The preference for drinking this kind of water compared to others is still much to be debated upon.
